Geno Genetics UK Ltd office established
Geno Genetics UK Ltd was established 15 February 2010, and is the second Geno subsidiary outside Norway. The trading name is Geno UK, and the Company will promote and sell Norwegian Red in a crossbreeding programme to the British dairy farmers.
Wes Bluhm is the Managing Director of Geno-UK. Wes brings more than 25 years professional experience in semen sales to his new role.
A Canadian
Wes Bluhm worked initially as a Holstein Canada fieldman before joining Alta Genetics working in sales and marketing. In 1996 Wes joined the new British cattle genetics business Cogent and moved to the UK. While with Cogent Wes established international distributors in over 25 different countries. Since 2005 Wes has been working to establish crossbreeding in the UK.
